Set inside the monumental Palais Brongniart in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement, Le Pompon sits somewhere between an elegant restaurant and a full night out. The menu takes a generous, contemporary French approach, with dishes such as peppered beef fillet, spicy lobster linguine and confit lamb shoulder alongside oversized desserts made for sharing. Dinner gradually gives way to music and dancing, with the restaurant staying alive until 2am — very much a place to come for the whole evening rather than just the food.
